We have been booking the most talented Stand-up Comedians for 15 years, many you will have heard of from the TV. We select 4 experienced, hilarious comics from the UK circuit every week (we’ll confirm these a few months before the show date, so keep your eye out).

Jaggers Comedy Club has been running since 2005 and we have gone from strength to strength, becoming Bournemouth’s longest running and most successful weekly comedy show. When it comes to funny, we really know our stuff and that shows in the acts we book for you 🙂

Headline act Mickey Sharma

Mickey Sharma’s mix of comedy is unique with high energy, which makes taming any type of crowd easy for Mickey. After a string of jobs, Sharma found his niche in stand -up comedy back in 2009. Very shortly after he gained recognition by taking part in a series of competitions & became a semi-finalist in the FHM Stand up Hero and, winner of the ‘King Gong’ & Bath Comedy Festival New Act Competition. His comedy has taken Mickey to performing all over the UK and Europe.

Show MC Caroline Mabey

Like all the other comedians Lockdown has affected my live gigs but you can hear me every Tuesday on Riverside Radio at 6pm, playing all sorts of exotic and wonderful music by female vocalists. I’ve also been acting in lots of short and long films for other people, plus some I made myself as part of the Lost Comics.
And I’ve been busy writing TV comedy drama. Watch this space!

Before the world fell to pieces, I wrote and performed six solo Edinburgh Fringe comedy shows, did constant stand-up gigs, co-hosted a podcast with Taylor Glenn called the Self Renovators, and I wrote and performed with Michael Legge as The Two Stupids.

I once played the bassoon at the Hammersmith Apollo. Not on /Live at the Apollo/, (but it was /that/Apollo). With Jarvis Cocker. Don’t ask him to verify this, he won’t remember. To him, I’m just a girl on a bassoon like any other.

Show Opener Jack Campbell

Jack Campbell is a stand-up comedian. Originating from rural Cambridgeshire, Jack now lives in Leicester and gigs all over the country.
Winner of English Comedian of the Year 2014, Jack has even performed in Australia, Germany, Finland, Latvia and Estonia.
Jack has always loved stand-up comedy and began performing whilst at De Montfort University, Leicester in 2009.

Middle Act Ben Harrington

Ben is now an established performer on the UK comedy circuit and is resident MC of Waterloo Comedy Club in London. In 2012 Ben will host his second Edinburgh show "The Best of Waterloo Comedy Club" which will feature top headline acts and rising stars from around the UK.

Ben has performed at a wide range of clubs, examples of which are below, his strength however is in m'cing. He is also a competent drummer - maybe the two are linked!
